WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Senior Consultant in our Continuous Improvement Group, your main role will be to lead client teams through the design and implementation of Continuous Improvement processes, systems, and disciplines in industrial environments that manufacture wood products.
You will be part of, or leading, a team of Consultants in delivering client projects, and you will play an important role in helping us grow our business through strong client relationships, project extensions, and client referrals.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or other related field (required);
- MBA or Masters in Forest Products Management (not required, but preferred);
- 3+ years of relevant experience working in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Performance Improvement in a manufacturing setting, ideally in the Wood Products field;
- Alternatively, 3+ years of experience working in a leadership role in manufacturing operations, ideally in the Wood Products field;
- Experience with Maintenance organizations, processes, systems and disciplines, and familiarity with the latest methodologies and technologies to implement and to facilitate preventive and predictive maintenance;
- Capable of easily interacting at both the shop floor and the board room;
- Project management experience;
- Strong presentation and written communication skills;
- Ability to be pragmatic, resilient and innovative in problem solving and issue resolution;
- Strong analytical mindset and skills and excellent Microsoft Excel skills

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Consultant or Analyst in our Continuous Improvement Group, you will work with our clients by:
- assisting in the assessment of client operations through off-site data analysis as well as on-site process analysis; and
- engaging with front line operators and supervisors on implementation of Continuous Improvement processes, systems, and disciplines.
You will be a part of a team of Consultants whose job it is to deliver client projects. Your enthusiasm and effectiveness will help grow our reputation, and thereby help us grow our business.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or other related field (required);
- 1+ year of experience working in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Performance Improvement in any industry;
- Alternatively, 2+ year of experience working in a leadership role in manufacturing operations;
- Capable of easily interacting with our client staff at the shop floor level;
- Solid presentation and written communication skills;
- Fluency in Spanish (ideal, but not required);
- Ability to be pragmatic, resilient and innovative in problem solving and issue resolution;
- Strong analytical mindset and skills;
- Possess excellent Microsoft Excel skills
